Who Is Saignus?
Saignus is a personal moniker I use for my online presence while I share creative work. It’s also the name of the dragon character I use to represent myself on the internet. I remember a time when no one needed to know your real name on the internet. Online security dragnets didn’t demand selfies or driver’s licences. It was a more innocent time, and I miss it.
There is no minority smaller than the individual,
and this philosophy filters into everything I do. I will defend your right to say things I disagree with just as readily as I’ll defend my right to counter it. Institutions are fragile, and principled people are stronger than they look.
Lately, I’ve been on a journey to explore the limits of my creativity in content creation. I’ve learned a great deal through consistently publishing videos on YouTube and Rumble. Most of the time, I’m posting adventures in Minecraft.
If there’s one culturally relevant game around that reflects the holographic nature of reality for me lately, it’s the silly game of block placement. It’s also an excellent medium for storytelling with many opportunities for rich interactions between souls. Stories are the universal solvent of ideas, the ultimate ancient technology for communication.
My interests also include economics and investing
While there are plenty of institutions that have been compromised by greed, I choose to believe in abundance, and I continue to find opportunities that take me farther than I would have ever believed.
Entrepreneurship is a lens through which I view the world. I’ve experimented with ecommerce, print on demand, wholesaling and other business models.
Dividend stocks are an awesome approachable way to keep Wall Street from taking all of your money, even if they look boring. Maybe I’ll write about that sometime. Blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies are very interesting, and if you aren’t already paying attention to them, I would highly recommend doing so.
